Holidays Are Not Always Joyful!

Have you considered what the holiday season brings? It is supposed to be a joyful event, so why are there so many suicides during and after the fact? There is really a lot of pressure on adults when they have children screaming for every little toy with big price tags that is advertised on the Television. If you are a single adult, then the pressure builds up to be able to satisfy and promote a happy demeanor when in your heart you are breaking. What happens if you go and use the dreaded credit card to bring happy faces at Christmas? After the bills come in the month of January where are you at then? When you are by yourself through the holidays you want to be with your family or at least a loved one. Finding yourself by yourself is one reason that people are ready to surrender to the uselessness of suicide. Reach out and truly understand what the holiday season is this year. It's not about the shopping and awful manners that are portrayed from one stranger to another. Make your presents from your heart, bake a grand cookie and spread your love in the message. Who loves a huge cookie that is homemade? There are beautiful jars, make your own salad dressings with the herbs included. These are useful and beautiful added to any kitchen. Find it in your heart to help people, if not the homeless then just help out with old folks and give them a reason to feel they are needed. There are just to many old folks that would make great Grand Parents if someone would just adopt them. I told my girls you can never have to many Grandparents. The feeling goes back to them, that they are still special.
