April Showers Are Here For March!

Mother nature is battling along with spring showers and thunderstorms taking us with a rage. It is surely surprising because this year we started with snow on the first of March. Now we are ending with a deluge of water that would be more welcome in the summer when we have drought. The flowers we do have are getting a proper burial by too much water. We are going to really appreciate the weather when we see the sunshine because it has been far between the tumultuous storms. The little boy came on the bus and said "why is it raining?" I told him the flowers were thirsty and we needed the rain. At least the school quit acting like the kids couldn't get wet. I put a phone call in and told the super what was going on and it has happened that it went back to normal. The teachers bring the children back to the bus with umbrellas in hand. The kids love the rain and they are not sugar lumps that will melt, they take showers. Many have to walk a long ways when they get off the bus and they really do not mind the raindrops on their heads. Changing the order of things is wrong without giving the parents fair warning. Grandma came to my bus when they had held me up for half an hour asking what was wrong. There is no reason to give them needless worries.
